GRANT PROGRAM
Since becoming a foundation in 1984, The Emergency Aid has awarded over $1.7 million to qualifying agencies. The Distribution Committee’s thoughtful site visits and evaluations result in its recommending more than thirty grants annually to the Board of Directors for approval. Grants range between $2000 and $5000.

The Emergency Aid supports applications from tax-exempt, non-profit community organizations located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, with annual budgets below $2,000,000, that elevate the quality of family life specifically pertaining to women and children and highlighting those organizations that utilize volunteers.

We do not fund capital improvements.

Our funding priority is women and children with an emphasis on:
hunger; shelter; afterschool programs; elderly; mental health and substance abuse issues.
